- Tanglewood Natural Area – Maintained by the city, right in our back yard, a great place for a quick walk to see local wild life.
- Spring Creek Trail – Running just behind our neighborhood, this well maintained, paved trail offers easy access to the foot-hills, downtown Fort Collins, or even as far as the Eastern plains!
- Olander Elementary School – Our locally zoned elementary is a truly special place for Project Based Learning. We’re happy to have a number of Olander teachers living in our community.

- Cottonwood Glen Park – A great place for younger children to play, a lovely 1 mile walk or bike ride down the Spring Creek Trail.
- Spring Canyon Park – One of the best parks in the city only a mile down the trail featuring a Summer splash pad and amazing play structures for older and younger kids and an amazing view of the foothills.
- Rolland Moore Park – A little over a mile to the East along the Spring Creek Trail, this park features tennis, pickleball, and volleyball facilities, as well as 4 lighted baseball fields, large picnic shelters available for events, horseshoe pits, and playgrounds.
